- What is the Mainline power track system?
-
The Mainline power track system is a revolutionary track-based power distribution system which overcomes the limitations of fixed power outlets. Specially designed adaptors offer access to power at any point along the Mainline track.
- How does Mainline work?
-
The adaptor is inserted into the track and turned 90 degrees to access power. Any electrical device can then be plugged in.
- To what standards does Mainline comply?
- How many times can the adaptors be inserted into the track?
-
As many times as required.
- Who can install the Mainline track?
-
Mainline must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring rules. Please contact your distributor for details.
- How many adaptors are allowed to be used concurrently?
-
The number of adaptors depends on the total load current required rather than the absolute number of adaptors connected. Maximum load current available on the system is subject to the rating of the mains circuit breaker (MCB) at the distribution board supplying the final sub-circuit.
- Is Mainline recyclable?
-
Most Mainline components are recyclable as they are made of copper and PVC. The entire Mainline installation can be removed from one position and reinstalled in another.

-
The Australian Wiring Rules specify the maximum length of an installation. All Mainline installations must be carried out in accordance with those rules.

-
The Mainline system and adaptors are available in black and white. For colour matching, colour codes are: Black - RAL 9004, White - RAL 9003
